These Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter the "Terms") govern registration for and participation in the International Staff Week event organised by ISIM in Nice (hereinafter the "Organiser").
The purpose of these Terms is to define the conditions for registration, payment, participation and cancellation relating to the International Staff Week event. Any registration implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.
The International Staff Week is a week of professional and academic exchange taking place in Nice. Participation includes access to the working sessions, the activities scheduled in the programme and, where applicable, the associated services (cocktail reception, transport, visits). The detailed programme is published on the website international-week.isim.fr.
5.1. Registration is carried out online via the form available on the website.
5.2. The participant warrants the accuracy of the information provided at registration (name, email address, home university, etc.).
5.3. Registration is only final after confirmation by the Organiser and, where applicable, receipt of payment.
5.4. An invitation letter is sent by email once registration is complete.
The event is intended exclusively for participants acting in a professional capacity (staff of partner universities and institutions). Registrations therefore fall under business-to-business (B2B) relationships, for which the right of withdrawal provided by the French Consumer Code for the benefit of consumers does not apply.
The applicable cancellation and refund conditions are set out in Article 8 of these Terms.
The refund conditions in the event of cancellation by the participant are as follows:
Any cancellation request must be sent in writing to erasmus@isim.fr; the date of receipt shall prevail.
In the event of cancellation of the event by the Organiser, participants will be fully refunded the amounts paid. The Organiser cannot be held liable for ancillary costs incurred by the participant (transport, accommodation).
The Organiser cannot be held liable for the non-performance of its obligations in the event of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code (natural disaster, epidemic, administrative decision, etc.).
Data collected as part of registration is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
These Terms are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will endeavour to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts of the Organiser's registered office.
As the event is intended exclusively for professionals (staff of partner universities and institutions), the consumer mediation scheme provided for in Articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code does not apply.
